Message from the President of Shahroud University of Medical Sciences on Pharmacists’ Day

The fifth of Shahrivar, marking Pharmacists’ Day in Iran, is an opportunity to honor the scientific expertise, professional commitment, and dedicated efforts of pharmacists who play an essential role in protecting and promoting public health.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Pharmacists, as key members of the healthcare team, play a role that extends far beyond the provision of medicines. Through their contributions to education, research, pharmaceutical supply and distribution, medication safety, professional consultation, and the promotion of rational medicine use, they make a significant contribution to the quality and safety of healthcare services.

At a time when timely and sustainable access to medicines and the appropriate use of healthcare resources are of particular importance, the knowledge and experience of pharmacists are essential to improving pharmaceutical services, enhancing patient safety, and strengthening public trust in the healthcare system.

Shahroud University of Medical Sciences deeply appreciates the valuable contributions of pharmacists, faculty members, and staff working in the pharmaceutical sector, whose commitment to education, research, and healthcare delivery continues to advance public health.

On this occasion, while commemorating the legacy of Zakariya al-Razi, I extend my sincere congratulations to all distinguished pharmacists, faculty members, and dedicated staff in the pharmaceutical sector of Shahroud University of Medical Sciences.
